Like a flower
I do not require
much attention.
Only sunlight
A bit of water
And, if you would,
speak to me
Once in a while
the vibration of your soul
is most comforting
They say
an object in motion
Tends to stay that way.
Why should the rule of one
Not apply to all?
Should I excuse myself
From covalent bonds?
The things I learned
In Chemistry and Physics:
The speed of matter
Forming color and time
I ride the waves of emotion
Amplified by moon and tide
The secret origin of my energy
Waxes and wanes
Attuned to them all
Subdued, sublimed
In infinite revelry.
The rainbow connection.
Do I dare to play
Along imaginary lines
Between potential and real
The Dreaming and the Becoming
At one with the infinite
Knowing all things are here
I am a patient person.
Redolent with expectation
The child's eye - bright anticipation
Without demand
Each horizon unfolds
The promise of the setting sun
The colors of a new day
I am turning, moving, stretching
A spire
Shedding skin after skin
Carried across
Green fields
Sky of blue
Clouds pass lazily
Light
Clear as 'now'
